Bellows Repair Notes

Bellows repair notes

Jacquard products makes a product called Gutta Resist. It is a liquid Gutta Percha product that is used to patch bellows.

Craft houses specializing in fabrics would have it.

For fabrics, Nylon and Gore-Tex repair kits are available. Black Gore-Tex is pretty opaque.
Seattle Fabrics, at 87th and Aurora, has kits and fabric.

Fabric adhesive can be used with Gore-Tex. but black Gutta Resist may be a good adhesive for small Gore-Tex patches.

Note from Bob Soloman about Marflex bellows

Kardan 57 bellows taper to the Kardan front standard which is larger then a 57 Technika front standard. I don't see how you would adapt it to fit. Besides the cost, 002590 NORMAL BELLOWS 57/KARDAN TE/TL $1,184.00, would be great enough that you may as well call Marflex to see what the Technika one would cost. 973 808-9626 but as he is in the process of moving you will probably get his answering machine. You can also email him at marf...@aol.com.
